We ran into a few last minute quirks while preparing for the Grid Masters Beta release, which means that the download actually went live early this morning instead of yesterday as promised. You can find the download on your account page after logging in. If you haven’t yet registered for the beta, click the button to register and refresh the page. You should now see a download button!
We do not currently have a developer/publisher ID from Microsoft so if you are running the game on Windows, it may tell you that the application is untrusted. If this happens pressing “More info” will give you the option to run it anyway. Also our installer doesn’t currently make desktop shortcuts, so you’ll have to add it on your own if you’d like one.
We have a few more things to work out in relation to enabling online play, so unfortunately it is currently not available. It’s planned for release with our first big update which is scheduled for May 8th! Also if you are trying to run our game on Mac OS X or Linux, you may run into more issues than those running on Windows. This game was built and tested on Windows and we haven’t had a lot of time to devote to testing on the other two platforms. We plan on fully supporting these, but at the moment, while we’re adding core features, Windows is our focus.
Please let us know of any problems you face or bugs you find. Our subreddit is the most ideal so that solutions to problems can be easily shared with all. However, if you have more specific questions or just don’t like reddit, don’t hesitate to email firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will try to resolve you issue as quickly as possible.
Thanks again for your interest in Grid Masters and for supporting Angry Hangar Games. From all of us here, hope you enjoy the beta!
